Returns & Cancellation Policy
At King Saddle Co., many of our products are custom-made to suit the individual rider, horse and selected design options. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Custom Saddle Orders
All custom saddles are manufactured to the specifications selected by the customer, including saddle design, seat size, gullet size, leather choices, tooling, hardware and other custom features.
By placing an order for a custom saddle, the customer acknowledges that the saddle is being manufactured specifically to their requirements and that cancellation and return rights are limited as outlined in this policy.
As custom saddles are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged for:
Change of mind
Incorrect option selections
Preference changes after ordering
Delays outside our reasonable control, including manufacturing, supplier or freight delays
Deposits & Final Payment
A deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total order value is required to secure all custom saddle orders.
Production will not commence until the required deposit has been received.
The remaining balance, together with applicable freight charges, must be paid in full prior to dispatch or collection of the completed saddle.
Ownership of the saddle remains with King Saddle Co. until all outstanding balances, including freight charges, have been paid in full.
Completed saddles will not be dispatched until all outstanding amounts have been received.
If the customer fails to pay the outstanding balance within a reasonable period after being notified that the saddle is complete, King Saddle Co. may recover reasonable storage, administrative and recovery costs associated with the order.
Changes & Cancellations
Requests to change or cancel a custom saddle order must be submitted within five (5) business days of placing the order or prior to manufacturing commencing, whichever occurs first.
Where a cancellation is approved before manufacturing has commenced, a cancellation fee may be deducted to cover administrative costs, payment processing fees and other reasonable costs incurred in relation to the order, up to a maximum of ten percent (10%) of the total order value.
Once manufacturing has commenced, King Saddle Co. may retain all or part of the customer's deposit to recover costs already incurred in relation to the order, including materials, labour, administration and production expenses.
Once production has substantially progressed, including custom tooling, personalised components, leather cutting, assembly or finishing work, the order is no longer eligible for cancellation or exchange, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Estimated Lead Times
Lead times provided by King Saddle Co. are estimates only and may vary due to manufacturing schedules, material availability, freight delays and other factors outside our reasonable control.
Estimated lead times do not form part of the contract of sale and do not give rise to a right of cancellation or compensation.
King Saddle Co. will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any significant delays affecting their order.
Saddle Fit
Saddle fit is influenced by many factors, including horse conformation, muscle development, rider requirements and equipment setup.
While King Saddle Co. will assist customers in selecting suitable saddle specifications, final responsibility for saddle selection remains with the customer. Saddle fit cannot be guaranteed based solely on photographs, measurements or information provided by the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all information supplied during the ordering process is accurate and complete.
Returns or exchanges will not be provided where saddle fit concerns arise due to inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect information supplied at the time of ordering.
